Bahrain Zoroastrian Association came into being 65 years back in the year 1956 due to unfortunate circumstances.

Having difficulties in interning the deceased Zoroastrians in Bahrain, Mr. Jamshed
Marolia our founding President approached the then ruler Sheikh Salman Bin
Hamad Al Khalifa , who graciously allotted a generous plot of land, for the making of the very first and the only Aaramgah in the region.

Hamad Al Khalifa - Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander & Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain for their benevolence, by way of granting us the privilege to thrive and succeed on this paradise island.

The sole purpose of the formation and primary aim of the BZA is the managing and
care-taking of our Aaramgah in Bahrain. Besides this, the members of the BZA meet
regularly to keep the bonhomie among them alive. We have come to be an extended
family to each other, and a major support system in times of need.

We extend a warm welcome to all newly landed Zoroastrians on this beautiful island & wish them and all members of our Association good luck & a homely stay at all times.
