
Requirements
The BZA has two categories of membership:
Full-Fledged Membership
Full-fledged membership is open to the following persons who then have a right to vote and hold office in the Executive Committee of the BZA:

One who is a Parsee Zoroastrian

One who is above the age of 18

One who is a resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain and
-
One who is reputed for his/ her good conduct and has not been convicted for any felony or crime.
Associate Membership
Non-Zoroastrian spouses of full-fledged members enroll as associate members and have no right to vote or hold office on the Executive Committee of the BZA
Membership is deemed forfeited in any of the following events:

Death
-
Resignation from the BZA membership

Forfeiture of any conditions of membership specified above

Dismissal
Membership entitles a full-fledged member to attend and vote at the Annual General Body meetings, have access to BZA records, documents and correspondence at times sanctioned by the Executive Committee and for them or their immediate family to be interred at the Aaramgah.
All full-fledged members who have paid the dues for the year and have been members for at least six months will constitute the General Assembly.
Full-fledged members unable to attend the Annual General Body Meeting can forward the signed proxy forms (in original) to the Hon Secretary.
